Sqills

Custom made publishing

Sanoma Magazines Belgium is the market leader in Belgium for popular magazines. The company decided to expand its activities by creating a new business unit for custom publishing. Sanoma Magazines asked Remarkable to create a strong pan-European name, acceptable to the Belgian market and containing a variety of possible links with various activities but without a direct link to Sanoma.

The name Sqills refers both to the roots of writing (‘quill’ = pen) and to the aptitudes needed to deliver a strong product (skills), forming a word that can easily be connected to the core values and activities of the business unit. Short, focused, and fresh are only three of its principal characteristics.
