In 1997, GB launched a new and specific private label. They wanted to market a broad range of traditional, artisan and local products: regional products based on authentic flavours and ingredients from yesteryear.

This umbrella brand needed to address both Belgian language communities and shouldn’t exclude any alimentary product, from beers to ready meals.

GB selected the very descriptive and bilingual name 'S Lands Souvenirs du Terroir from Remarkable’s name presentation. The brand name has a lot of meaning and incorporates clearly what these products are all about: the products are manufactured by small SMEs and are souvenirs of both the region and traditional preparation methods.
