Amonis

From VKG-CPM to Amonis

In 2002, insurance company VKG-CPM (financial services for medical professions) worked together with Remarkable to create a new corporate name, in order to cover several of its current departments. The new name had to be short and powerful and usable in the multilingual context that applies in Belgium.

Amonis is a fantasy name, not directly evoking the core activity of the organization. The name is derived from the mythic god Amon, referring to one of the 8 Egyptian primitive gods. In addition to the storytelling behind the name – Amon was mentioned in a lot of medicinal spells and formulas – it’s a solid sounding name, easy to pronounce and easy to remember.
